About the LifeSpan TR1200-DT5
The LifeSpan TR1200-DT5 Treadmill Desk is exactly what it promises: a workstation with a treadmill. The treadmill comes with a 46.5” by 31” desk that is durable. The desk doesn’t shake while in use since it isn’t directly attached to the treadmill.
With a spacious desk surface, it can hold a laptop or a monitor and a printer all at once. The LifeSpan TR1200-DT5 comes with an internal cable system that connects your PC with the power cord of the desk.
The cable runs through the steel frame, ensuring safety, minimizes clutter, and increases aesthetic value for a more peaceful workspace. The padded and foam injected armrest is a bonus, a feature that adds comfort when you type while walking.
The whisper-quiet treadmill incorporates an integrated console that provides you with feedback based on your workout routine on the treadmill.
The workout machine’s small LED console keeps a count of the number of steps taken, calorie burnt, walking time, speed, and distance walked. The Bluetooth system can also save your results and track your progress made on the machine.
With LifeSpan TR1200-DT5, you can transfer all your progress data to your smartphone by simply waving it over the console. The data gets transferred to a free app that stores all your information for future consultation.
Features of the LifeSpan TR1200-DT5

The treadmill’s shock absorbent body doesn’t let your footfalls disturb those around you or distract you from concentrating on your work. The machine also comes with a quiet motor function that maintains the quiet and productive environment of an office.

How We Tested This Treadmill Desk
The whole idea of walking while working doesn’t sound bizarre when we think back to the times where we would scroll through Instagram while cycling at a gym, or watch a video while lifting weights.
So, we decided to test out the product to see if it stands true to all the promises it makes to its potential customers. We used the LifeSpan TR1200-DT5 to carry out our daily work routine while walking on the treadmill. We placed our laptop on the desk and started out at a slow (2mph) pace to test out if it was possible to stay productive at work while walking or not.
Results of our Testing
In the beginning, it was admittedly distracting having to walk and type at the same time. Even when walking at a low pace, we found it a little unnerving to work on a task that required attention and focus.
After a while, though, we got used to it, and walking seemed like background noise as we became more and more focused on our work. The padded armrests provided comfort while typing, and the adjustable height of the desk was effective in correcting posture.
When we increased the speed to 4 mph, we found it unmanageable to work as that required considerably more effort.
It certainly was helpful in burning calories while engaging in something we normally wouldn’t burn any calories from. You can walk a good 2 miles in one hour at a leisurely pace while working on your laptop.
Our Final Verdict on the LifeSpan TR1200-DT5
The LifeSpan TR1200-DT5 is an innovative invention that would turn your work experience into something even more productive, both for your mind and your body. The treadmill works quietly for you to take phone calls in peace and work in a quiet environment.
Its six-hour running time and its full-proof safety features make the machine a highly recommended product for someone who spends most of their time in front of their laptop or computer. What’s more, the machine also has a technology to record your progress made on the treadmill.
Although this quality product is more on the expensive side, its unique features and advantages make it an investment worth spending money on.
